Being able to look at ourselves honestly is itself the amazing grace of God. Without Knowing God, we cannot know ourselves. If we cannot know ourselves, we cannot say we know God.
When we stand in front of the cross, we can see our true values and our true selves. Our faith begins there. When we truly get to know ourselves, we will start to seek God’s grace and understand the depth of His grace. Our faith will grow to the extent that we see ourselves. Just being able to see our true selves is itself the amazing grace of God.
Even when our faith is shaken, God’s grace always embraces us. When our faith is shaken, the false faith in which we have deceived ourselves crumbles, and only the true faith remains. When everything in this world is shaken up, we are able to see Heaven that is never shaken. When we hear the testimonies of the believers who endured the suffering and persecutions, we can see the substance of true faith that is never shaken in any circumstances.
When you look at yourselves, I pray that you can fix your eyes to God’s grace.
