There is a prayer group for Pastor Young G. Choi, where I am a member of. The following is the excerpt from Pastor Choi’s prayer requests.
"January is almost over, and conferences in north America have started. I think I will be pretty busy for the 1st half of the year because I will be resigning as the president of the International Home Church Ministry, and my schedule from last summer has moved to this 1st half for my wife’s health issues.
I will be conducting revival meetings at Nashua Hanmaum Church (pastor Choi, Ji-won) in New Hampshire from 2/15 to 2/17th. Koreans are scarce in New Hampshire. However, God has sent continuous stream of souls to the Church that they have accepted Christ as a savior and got baptized. The North America Home Church Pastor Conference is held at this Church end of April as well. Please pray that the revival meetings will bring energy to the Church for the successful completion of the conference.
Thank you for your non-stop prayer for my wife. I have good news to share. When my wife got sepsis last August, her kidney had stopped functioning, only 10% of lung capacity had left, and her heart had filled with water. However, my wife miraculously got well and released from the hospital when many of the 123 prayer group members had prayed and fasted with me.
Sepsis causes the internal organs to fail one by one leading to death. Even if survivors recover from it, they have to go through kidney dialysis or carry oxygen cylinder. However, for my wife’s case, God healed her completely. She neither needs to go through the kidney dialysis nor carries the oxygen cylinder. And her cancer response got improved little bit.
Nowadays, she can even drive and do household chores. I observe this miracle daily and I am starting to have higher expectation. To showcase it, my wife has accompanied me to International Home Church Executive Council. I will be visiting Boston in May and I wish that my wife can accompany me there as well. And pushing my expectation even higher, I wish that my wife can make the appearance at the Home Church Pastor Conference being held at Jeju (island in Korea) which will be the last conference that I am attending as a president of the Home Church Ministry. I would appreciate your prayer for my wishes."
I request that you all pray with me. Please set aside a fixed time allotted for prayer. I have no doubt that as we march through with prayers, we will shed tears of joy when many of the God’s lost children unite with him.

“1월 다 지나고 이제 북미 집회가 시작됩니다. 한국에서처럼 일정이 빡빡하지는 않지만, 제가 국제가사원장 직에서 은퇴하는 마지막 분기이기도 하고, 아내 건강 때문에 취소했던 지난 여름 일정을 이번 상반기로 옮겼기 때문에 꽤 바쁠 것 같습니다.
미국 동부 뉴햄프셔에 소재한 내슈아한마음교회(최지원 목사)에서 2월 15일(금)~17일(일)에 부흥집회를 인도합니다. 내슈아에는 한인이 별로 없습니다. 그런데 하나님께서 믿을만 하다고 생각해서 그러시는지 구원받을 사람들을 지속적으로 보내주셔서 구원받고 침례 받는 사람들이 계속 있습니다.(구원 받은 후에는 떠나기는 하지만 ^^;). 4월말에 있는 북미 목회자 컨퍼런스를 이 교회가 개최합니다. 집회를 통해 컨퍼런스 개최할 에너지가 생기도록 기도 부탁드립니다.

제 아내를 위해 끊임 없이 기도해 주셔서 감사합니다. 좋은 소식을 전해드립니다. 지난 8월에 아내가 패혈증에 걸렸을 때 신장기능이 정지 되었고, 폐는 10%만 작동하고, 심장에는 물이 찼습니다. 그랬는데 많은 123 기도요원들이 저와 더불어 금식하며 기도했고 그 결과 기적적으로 살아나고 병세가 갑자기 호전되어 병원에서 퇴원하게 되었습니다.
패혈증에 걸리면 기관들이 하나하나 기능을 상실하면서 사망하게 되고, 설혹 회복이 된다 해도 신장 투석을 하거나 산소통을 차고 다녀야 하는데, 아내는 하나님께서 완전히 회복시켜 주셨습니다. 신장 투석도 않고 산소통도 차고 다니지 않으며, 암 수치가 증가하지 않고 오히려 약간 줄어들었습니다.
그래서 요즈음은 집안일도 하고 운전도 하고 다닙니다. 저는 기적을 목격하면서 삽니다! 이제 욕심이 생겼습니다. 1년에 1회 국제가사원 이사회을 갖는데, 아내를 동반하고 여행하면서 모임을 갖습니다. 금년 5월에는 보스턴 지역을 여행하게 되는데, 아내가 참여할 수 있으면 좋겠습니다. 그리고 한국도 방문해서 제가 국제가사원장으로서 마지막 참여하는 제주도 목회자 컨퍼런스에 잠깐 얼굴이라도 보이고 기도해주신 여러분들에게 감사 인사말을 전할 수 있으면 좋겠습니다. 이를 위해 기도해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.”
여러분도 함께 기도해 주시면 좋겠습니다. 하루 중에 시간을 정하셔서 기도해 주시길 부탁드립니다. 우리가 기도하면서 나아갈 때, 이번 집회가 하나님 아버지와 잃어버린 자녀들이 만나는 감격적인 기회가 될 것이라 믿습니다.
